Effects of the Supermoon

Happy August! But did you see the Supermoon the other night? It is said that the Supermoon transmits energy that has the ability to transform your life. This year we will be experiencing 4 supermoons back to back ( July 3rd, August 1st, August 20th, September 29th). I'm hoping this brings along many wins for us all. With that being said, let's get into it and celebrate some wins and updates.

First and most importantly #Yonce. From my side view nose bleed seats I experienced the most magical and Euphoric experience of my life. The Renaissance tour. (Yada, yada, yada, bom-bm, kah-kah). As Yonce floated before my very own eyes, across the stadium on a disco horse, I was transported and a core memory was built.

NEXT - I turned 27 - whichhhhh I feel really excited about. Whenever people ask how 27 feels my response is, I am still clueless, broke, and anxious but I just have more security in the fact that it will all work out. I mean, I made it this far. I celebrated my day with self-care followed by a big #BarbieBirthdayBash surrounded by the best people in NYC.

And for the finale! I am elated to share that I will be showcasing my work In the ARRIVED SHOWCASE ON AUGUST 12TH in Brooklyn, NY. Which I am now formally inviting you all to.

"The Arrived Collective is a non-profit organization that is committed to intentionally creating space for Black and Brown emerging artists and creatives to find community, access resources, and gain exposure."

Introducing my Summer series, Summer Be... An ode to living for the moment. I've often found myself thinking in a mindset of "when I..." and searching for the next thing rather than respecting where I am right now. In the past, I have used Summer as a marker. I've avoided enjoying my summer because I've been focused on not where Im at but where I thought I should be. This project is about embracing where I currently am and allowing myself to enjoy all the beautiful things that this Summer means to me. Enjoying all the things I told myself I would do but put off in the past. This series is about letting Summer be Summer. The above photo is a small sneak peek, but there is so much beautiful work in store. I would be so honored if you accompany me along with a bundle of phenomenal artists to see our work in person. A portion of our proceeds from this showcase will be donated to Arts for All. To purchase your Ticket for the showcase head to this link.

I hope to see you at the Showcase and if you can't make it I am wishing you all the good energy from the Supermoon.
