I’m screaming—let’s scream together!! I officially got my LLC, and oh man, this is HUGE for me. It’s been a long time coming. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of owning my own business. When I was a kid, I used to set up little office spaces in my room like I was prepping for my next big meeting. I started conceptualizing my brand and business when I was about 18, and I’ve been working on it ever since. Officially claiming AshliUnframed LLC has been on my To-Do list for years.
As a full-time freelance artist, every buck I earn goes to bills, my dogs, or right back into my business—whether it’s for equipment upgrades, editing software, or travel. Getting an NY LLC isn’t cheap, and it’s something I kept putting off. But I promised myself I’d get it done before the end of the year—and I DID! So let’s celebrate this milestone.
I’m taking small steps towards bigger goals 🥂, and I’m beyond excited to keep growing as an artist, a storyteller, and clears throat a businesswoman.
I've started a YouTube Channel
For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to start a YouTube channel, but I kept putting it off. I was always worried about what people would think. What’s the point? What if I look stupid? Ugh, I hate the way I look on camera.
I came up with every excuse imaginable. And years went by—yes, years—while I kept postponing it. One of the worst feelings is making a list of things you want to do and then realizing you’ve let them slip away. I’ve grown so tired of that feeling. I spend so much time telling other people’s stories, but I never tell my own.
So, this past month, I finally forced myself to create one video. Nothing too fancy—just the first video I’ve always dreamed of making. It’s a personal video diary of my life as an artist, and it marks the start of something I’ve put off for way too long. My goal is to keep creating content that shows more of who I am.
I’d love for you to join me on this journey. Watch the first video below, and let me know what you think!
UNFRAMED X MONOLITH PROJECT UPDATES
October marked the release of Abby Helms' new single, Twisted. I had the pleasure of photographing the cover for this track, which was a true collaborative effort. Abby painted an artwork that she felt captured the essence of the song’s lyrics, and then she handed it off to me. I took her piece and transformed it into the portrait you see below, merging our creative visions to bring the cover to life.

While I was shooting the cover for Twisted, Joreihl was capturing the behind-the-scenes footage for the project, which we released last week!
Here are some snippets of me on the camera
Behind the Image

As mentioned earlier, I’m excited to share more about my artwork and the stories behind why I create certain pieces. I’ve started a short series that we’re calling Behind the Image for now. The first short dives into one of my favorite prints, ABRACADABRA.
I was inspired to create this piece when I first moved to New York and ended up living in a house with over 25 people. Every morning, there was a man who would yell outside my window, and I swear I heard him shout, "ABRACADABRA ALL THE F YOU WANT..." It stuck with me, I talk more about this experience in the video below.
Thank you so much for supporting me for another year and for not sending my emails to spam 🫶🏾! I’m excited to continue growing this community, and I need your help to make that happen. Please share my work, website, and socials with your friends and family.
Wishing you all the happiest of holidays, and I’ll see you in the New Year
